Snowdonia mountaineering

November 10, 2010

At the end of October I went with a friend to Snowdonia for a weekend of mountaineering. On day one we climbed the north side of Tryfan which is always a good climb, especially when the weather throws hail stones at you, when you’re halfway up, which come at you like bullets. The next day we climbed the peak of Glyder Fach up Bristly Ridge which was exhilarating. Only a grade 2, at its most tricky sections, for any real climbers out there. Therefore just a scramble, but still challenging when not using ropes. Great fun all round. Here’s a photo I took whilst up there.
