Pembrokeshire

June 5, 2013

Last week was half term for the children so we took a trip to Pembrokeshire in West Wales. We had a couple of days of good weather and spent some time on the beach. It’s a beautiful place – every turn you take when driving through the yellow gorse lined lanes gives you another stunning view, whether it be poetic rolling countryside or ancient stone churches and chapels, farm houses or whitewashed cottages. You could stop and sketch or paint at almost every turn. Here are a couple of quick sketches I made during the few days when I managed to grab a few minutes with my sketchbook and pen.
