Pettigrew’s Tea Rooms

April 18, 2014

Spent a glorious afternoon at Pettigrew’s Tea Rooms in Bute Park, Cardiff. Enjoyed cream of mushroom and thyme soup with a beef and horseradish sandwich followed by honey and white chocolate cake with a pot of Russian Caravan black tea. My wife had some fresh egg mayonnaise sandwiches followed by courgette and pineapple cake (!) and a latte. Spent far too long there drawing but I suppose drawing is always time well spent. Did a drawing in my notebook and then the owner wanted one for his guest book so with nothing pressing time wise, I obliged. See below. Always great food and excellent service in lovely surroundings.
