St. Fagans Museum of Welsh Life

October 1, 2015

I visited the Museum of Welsh Life again the other day. We took a group of first year illustration students from Cardiff School of Art and Design on a walk from the University to St Fagans.  They had a good day walking and drawing around the outdoor museum and in the houses and buildings there. Her is a sketch of the double seater toilet that can be found in the garden of the Kennixton House, a typical farmhouse from Gower in South Wales, with blood-red walls.

Here’s a previous drawing from St. Fagans showing my favourite medieval house Garreg Fawr Farmhouse (1544).
